In our new, travel article we stay for a few days in Etoliko, Etoloakarnania and learn its history, an important point of which is the trial of Karaiskakis. We eat, drink, take walks and marry our friends Petros and Elli in Agios Dimitrios at Katohi village. Also, we visit Messolonghi for food and drink, and we enjoy the warm hospitality of the couple’s relatives, who received us every day at their home in Etoliko.

Our traditional desserts in a different way: semolina halva
In our new article we will see our traditional sweets differently; with more modern approaches, in combination with mousses and creams, or as elements in more complex desserts. Getting inspiration we will make our own “modern”, fasting and vegan semolina halva, with hazelnuts, in combination with a chocolate semolina cream.

In our new, syrupy article we will look for layered desserts from various countries worldwide and make a refreshing ekmek kadayifi with vanilla custard, cinnamon whipped cream and peach.
